Rearing Healthy Calves in Practice

This is a new course! The one day workshop provides experienced (at least one season) calf rearers an opportunity to discuss calf rearing management issues with other farmers and veterinarian to improve systems for future seasons.

Topics that the group may cover include

• Nutrition, weaning and colostrum management
• Calf health, identification and husbandry
• Calving preparation, biosecurity and housing
