Future Focus

Future Focus is a plan for the dairy industry in the Murray region.

The goal for the industry in the Murray region is clear: a strong, confident, agile and forward-looking industry and an industry that transforms challenges into opportunities, is profitable and continues to support the communities that depend on its prosperity.

This regional industry plan has been developed through extensive research and consultation with industry throughout 2017 and 2018.

The Future Focus report identifies trends, challenges and opportunities under six key areas:

• Systems
• Water
• People
• Planning
• Promotion

Goals and strategies have been identified under each of these key themes to coordinate effort and guide investment.

Future Focus provides directions for all organisations working for the good of dairy in the region including industry, local government and state agencies.
