Karen is no stranger to the dairy industry, having grown up on a dairy farm in South Gippsland and supporting two teenage sons working on dairies in the Macalister Irrigation District.
Jessica Russell

Jessica was born and raised on a dairy farm and has worked in the agriculture industry over the last 10 years. She has a Certificate III in Business Administration and is currently completing a Certificate III in Human Resources. Jessica is passionate about the dairy industry and helping young farmers progress in their careers. She is currently on maternity leave and will return in February 2025.

Veronica grew up on a dairy farm in the Macalister Irrigation District. She has been involved in the dairy industry all her life in farm and service provider roles, including – but not limited to - milker, calf rearer, AI technician, and stockfeed nutritionist.
Veronica is passionate about building farmer and industry relationships and helping to mentor the next generation. Her varied career has equipped Veronica with an expansive knowledge of the dairy industry.

Kim has an extensive career in the agricultural industry and is also a dairy farmer on her family farm in Gippsland. She was most recently an Extension Advisor at GippsDairy with a particular focus on supporting farmers undertaking the Our Farm, Our Plan program.
Kim has transitioned into the Farm Engagement Lead role where she connects with farmers one-on-one to help them achieve their specific farm business goals.

Stacey holds a Bachelor of Business and Graduate Diploma in Professional Communication. She has previously worked in the Higher Education department at Oxford University Press in Melbourne before relocating to West Gippsland with her young family.

Cornell has a vast background in the banking, university and most recently local government sectors, supporting executives to lead their teams to meet and exceed KPI’s. Growing up in South Gippsland Cornell spent endless hours on friends’ dairy farms and has a love for everything about cows. Cornell is passionate about customer service and ensuring that farmers business needs are a priority.

Belinda has extensive experience in the dairy industry as a farmer, industry advocate, and field services manager, and is a recent graduate of the Gippsland Community Leadership Program. As GippsDairy’s Workforce Attraction Project Lead she works with farmers, schools, education, and employment organisations across Gippsland to encourage people into the dairy industry.

She is currently filling in for maternity leave for the Young Dairy Network and Automatic Milking Systems Discussion Group and looks forwards to learning more about Gippsland’s dairying community.
