Support for impacted Beston Global suppliers

Dairy Australia is working closely with South Australian Dairyfarmers Association (SADA) to coordinate support for impacted Beston Global suppliers. As the key contact point, SADA has reached out to impacted suppliers and will continue to offer their assistance. SADA is also in regular contact with the SA Government and Regional Development Australia Murraylands.

South Australian Ag consultant Beck Burgess is engaged by Dairy Australia and SADA to touch base with those dairy farmers who are impacted. Beck is available to meet one-on-one with farmers to discuss their situation and options. She can also support farmers to make decisions and be clear about next steps. Please note that the Rural Financial Counselling Service program is also available to support Beston suppliers. Qualified business financial counsellors are available by phone on 1800 836 211. For those seeking 1:1 health and wellbeing support, this is also available and can be directed through Beck or the Dairy Australia SA team. Dairy Australia and SADA will also provide opportunities for impacted suppliers to catch up in a group and share experiences and support in the coming weeks. As we move forward, SADA will continue to engage with affected suppliers and creditors on an individual basis.
