A group of our enthusiastic south east dairy farmers recently met in Mount Gambier to deep dive into strategic planning for nutrient management on their farms – delivered by Dairy Australia as the revamped Fertsmart program.
It was inspiring to see farmers from all backgrounds and experiences unite with a shared goal: optimising nutrient use on our farms, for a sustainable future.
We delved into topics ranging from soil health to nutrient management – focussing on the right source, at the right rate, at the right time, in the right place. With expert deliverers and engaging discussions, we explored practical strategies and solutions for optimising production while minimising environmental impact.
