Funded by the Farm Business Resilience Program (FBRP) and supported by the Future Drought Fund and the Department of Primary Industries Regional Development (DPIRD), DBSS has a proven track record of assisting dairy farmers in navigating the complexities of business operations. Over the next year, the program will continue offering a lifeline to dairy business owners, providing expert advice on business planning and farm performance improvements.
What DBSS Offers
A total of 50 personalised consultation sessions are available, covering a wide range of critical areas, including:
- Profitability and Productivity Analysis: Through DairyBase and Knowing Your Numbers, consultants will help you identify key areas for improvement to drive success.
- Business Planning: Gain insights to make informed decisions for the future of your dairy farm.
- Farm Performance: From HR planning to herd management and data analysis, DBSS supports strategic farm operations.
- Accounting Software: Learn how to use accounting tools efficiently to stay on top of your farm’s finances.
In addition to one-on-one consultations, the program will offer 4 group activities, either online or in-person, addressing topics relevant to the wider dairy farming community across NSW.
