Annual General Meeting
Dairy Australia’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Wednesday 27 November 2024 in Warrnambool, Victoria.
About the AGM
The AGM provides dairy farmers with an update on Dairy Australia’s areas of investment, ask questions and vote in relation to the election of directors and other items of business.
Election of new Chair
Paul Roderick was elected Chair of the Dairy Australia Board following the 2024 AGM. Former Dairy Australia Chair James Mann retired from the board following nine years as a director and four and a half years as chair.

The results of the 2024 AGM are as follows:
Election of directors
Simone Jolliffe was re-elected to a second three-year term as a director. James Neal was elected to a first three-year term as a director.
Increase in aggregate directors fee pool
The resolution to increase the aggregate pool for directors fees was approved.
Amendment to constitution
The resolution to amend the Dairy Australia Constitution to provide the board with the option to appoint a chief executive officer rather than a managing director was approved.
Removal of Group B member
The resolution to remove Australian Dairy Products Federation as a Group B member was not approved.
